Creativity and Problem Solving

There are many ways of approaching and solving problems. We offer those that are most practical and useful to participants on this one-day programme.

What are the different conditions for personal, group and corporate creativity?

What are the problems/issues you are working on?

Creativity was once considered the province of the Gods. After the Renaissance, creators had a lively sense of their own genius and the creator was seen as someone special. Now we know that anybody can be creative.

Creating involves skills and these skills can be learned and developed. Here you will sharpen skills that you can apply to developing goals and achieving results in your organisation, solving problems and innovating.

Who would benefit?

Anyone who needs practical tools for innovation, stimulus for new ideas, or fresh solutions for challenging problems.

Objective:

  • To provide a flexible, personal kit for practical creativity and prompt insights into current issues

Approach:

  • An engaging mix of inputs, discussion, case studies, activities and reflection, leading to applications for each participant

Contents:

  • Learn and use the Five Steps to Creativity
  • Decide what you want to create
  • Setting the Conditions - external and internal
  • Blocks, perfectionism and mistakes
  • How to do flexibility
  • Presenting a practical creation
  • Creativity and problem-solving
  • Creative environments - do you work in an army, a garden or on the edge of chaos?
  • Problem-solving brainteasers throughout the day

Duration: One day.
