Improving Your Business Writing
The objective of this practical one-day course is to improve your skills in writing emails, letters, proposals and reports.
Too much business writing is over-formal, stilted and riddled with jargon. Your documents should actually be business-like and precise.
During this seminar you will learn principles of good writing. You will practise writing clearly, logically and at the appropriate length, working towards real letters, proposals, reports or presentations you are planning to make.
By the end of the session you will know how to:
- Get your writing started
- Organize your ideas more efficiently
- Structure simple documents
- Express your ideas clearly, simply and precisely
- Comply with your house style
- Approach writing with fresh enthusiasm
- Improve a current example of your own work
The course is designed by Paul Z Jackson, who has written for many newspapers and magazines, inspired hundreds of writers, and whose books include The Inspirational Trainer, Impro Learning and 581/2 Ways to Improvise in Training.
Hundreds of participants have found the day fun, participative and practical, with plenty of ideas to make their work more enjoyable, targeted and profitable.<!--?p-->
