Negotiating and the Art of Influence

A one-day programme, covering the essentials of formal negotiations, using classic, effective and ethical principles. It prepares participants for dealing with tough and awkward bargainers. The learning can also be applied with excellent results to less formal settings wherever participants wish to exercise their influence.

The course equips participants to negotiate win-win solutions, given the constraints of each situation. It presents models and methods to enable participants to reach successful conclusions to win-win negotiations in a wide range of circumstances.

By the end of the course you will:

  • Learn our invaluable Seven-Stages process
  • Know how to prepare to negotiate
  • Improve your reading of the situation
  • Develop your intuition
  • Understand the four-point win-win negotiation principles
  • Practice negotiation skills
  • Use powerful influencing techniques
  • Be ready to deal with tactics that may be used against you
  • Strengthen your personal negotiating and bargaining strategies
