Our projects include:
What's different? You will notice some fundamental differences in how we operate. The first difference is the use of Improvisation - both as a method of training, and as part of the content of all programmes. We apply the principles of Impro Learning to create and to deliver. In delivery, for example, each associate brings their own style to the materials, adapting a programme on the spot to best meet the needs of participants. In the content of courses, you'll note all sorts of improvisation-based communication skills - such as flexibility, confidence, spontaneity, creativity and humour. Your participants will benefit from the skills of our facilitators who ensure that beyond the stated objectives of your course, you also:
A second difference is our values: we work with people we like, and that goes for clients as well as associates. We know we will get the best from you when we have the right fit between deliverers and participants: as all our work is participative, this is crucial. Third, we value enjoyment in learning. People generally say they have had fun, some that they haven't laughed so much in years. This means the gateways to learning and memory have been opened, and real change is more likely to take place for the organisation. A fourth difference is in our structure. We are a modern, virtual company, with a great deal of flexibility. We get the resources you need into place quickly and inexpensively. The fifth difference, and the most important benefit you will get from working with us, is that we bring out the best in our clients. In consultancy we help you find your own solution - that’s the whole purpose of solution-focused consultancy. And in training, all the activities are designed to draw people in to participate, so that they can learn, discover, or achieve whatever the course is setting out to teach. Course Style We appreciate that people are different, so all PJA courses, workshops and programmes have plenty of variety and flexibility. People learn by doing, so there’s always an experiential element, followed by reflection. We make sure we’re going at the right speed to keep participants engaged. And we select the most pertinent experiences for the training environment so that they relate directly to organisational needs and circumstances. Our programmes are practical and engaging: relating directly to real workplace experience. Stimulating working methods include activities, case studies, stories, discussion, discovery, planning, goal-setting and reviewing. Working with us is participative, demanding, productive and fun. Open and In House Most of our programmes are run in-house, but occasionally we offer an open course for individuals who are developing themselves or who want to sample what we do on behalf of an organisation. From time to time, we run the following as open courses, or whenever there is sufficient demand: Rates Our rates are competitive. The fee depends on how many consultants we'll be using, how many participants will be attending, the length of the course, the amount of preparation and whether it forms part of a rolling programme. A rough guide is that many of our events cost around £1200 per day, plus VAT. What you receive Participants on our courses receive:
The organisation receives:
Everyone receives:
During our courses, you compile a detailed, personal plan, which - alongside other features of the workshop, such as visioning and future-focused strategy - ensures you can transfer material from training to the job. This means you rediscover the joy of learning in an atmosphere of purpose, fun and trust. |
